Senior QA Engineer II (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, USA; preference for candidates able to work Pacific Time Zone (PST) hours.

Base salary: $165,000–$185,000 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead quality efforts for products supporting healthcare providers, patient workflows, and diagnostic reporting.
• Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and partner teams to establish quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop risk-based test strategies, plans, cases, documentation, and quality standards for complex systems.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Advance automation coverage and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead defect root-cause analysis, communicate quality risks and release readiness, and mentor colleagues on quality practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software quality assurance experience and a record of leading cross-functional quality initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, risk-based testing, client-server architecture, APIs, integrations, and system dependencies.
• Hands-on experience testing native or cross-platform iOS and Android applications across devices, operating-system versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
• Experience with REST API and backend-service testing, test automation frameworks, CI/CD workflows, and at least one programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG, including tools such as Axe, Lighthouse, or screen readers.
