Supervising Producer (YouTube)

Location: On-site in the greater New York City area, reporting to the Director of Social & Video.

Salary: $125,000–$130,000 base annually, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Evaluate story strength during the pitch approval process in collaboration with the Director of Video.
• Partner with producers to develop outlines, scripts, and long-form YouTube videos.
• Guide story structure, platform readiness, visuals, and editorial feedback during post-production.
• Discover and pitch business story assignments aligned with the hirify.global voice and audience.
• Develop YouTube packaging with producers and the in-house graphics team.
• Build production timelines and deadlines for long-form projects.

Requirements

• Must be located in the greater New York City area and work on-site.
• Experience leading or working on a YouTube team with a strong record of growth and view performance.
• Experience working with creators and producers.
• Understanding of YouTube analytics and how to apply data to editorial decisions.
• Strong knowledge of business news and the ability to identify unique business angles.
• Player-coach leadership style with the ability to contribute in the edit and in the field.

Nice to have

• Experience writing or editing humorous content.
• Director of Photography background or the ability to shoot on FX3 cameras.
