AI Engineer

Location: Minsk, Belarus; hybrid or fully remote work is available with flexibility on location and working setup.

Аксис Кор Тех is building an AI transformation function for use cases across financial services, support, compliance, marketing, and operations.

What you will do

• Take prioritized AI use cases from proof of concept through production and own their full lifecycle.
• Design and build LLM applications and agents using RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, tool and function calling, structured outputs, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Build backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces around AI solutions.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate solutions on AWS, GCP, Azure, or another major cloud provider.
• Integrate AI with CRM, support platforms, communication tools, internal databases, and back-office systems.
• Define evaluation harnesses, quality metrics, safety standards, guardrails, and traceability for regulated financial services use cases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years building LLM-based applications.
• Proven experience shipping 2–3 real AI implementations to production.
• Strong fullstack development skills, including backend services, APIs, and enough frontend development to ship usable interfaces.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, cloud deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, multi-agent orchestration, tool and function calling, and evaluation harnesses.
• Strong English communication skills are required for explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Data pipeline experience with ETL/ELT, orchestration, warehouses, or lakehouses.
• Experience in fintech, brokerage, banking, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with voice AI, multilingual applications, or customer-facing chatbots at scale.
