Dissolution Scientist (Pharmaceutical Sciences)

What you will do

• Design, plan, and execute dissolution testing for drug development projects.
• Develop and optimize biorelevant and quality-control dissolution methods.
• Contribute to biopharmaceutical assessment strategies using in vitro data to predict in vivo exposure.
• Support laboratory automation initiatives and advance mechanistic understanding of dissolution processes.
• Develop data modelling and analysis approaches, including statistical methods, DoE, and MVA.
• Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and write or review technical and scientific documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in pharmaceutical sciences, small-molecule formulation development, analytical chemistry, compliance, and GMP.
• PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Biomedical Sciences, or a Master’s degree with at least two years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English required.
• Scientific curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, creativity, and strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with QC or biorelevant dissolution testing and method development.
• Experience in statistical or data modelling, DoE, or MVA.
• Experience with laboratory automation or equipment qualification.
• Dutch language skills or willingness to learn the basics.
