Principal Product Manager (AI Assistant)

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO; New York, NY; or San Francisco, CA. Employees based in these locations are expected to work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week. San Francisco office expectations include the San Jose metro area.

Salary: $179,000–$220,000 per year in Denver and most major metro locations; $210,000–$260,000 per year in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York.

What you will do

• Define the vision and strategy for hirify.global’s conversational AI assistant.
• Expand assistant capabilities across payroll, time, benefits, compliance, and other business workflows.
• Prioritize third-party connectors, messaging channels, AI clients, and first-party product surfaces.
• Partner with engineering and data teams on API design, the MCP layer, agent-accessible systems, and technical trade-offs.
• Partner with design and UXR to understand customer trust and comfort with AI acting on their behalf.
• Ship focused product increments quickly and measure success through real customer actions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience with meaningful product or platform ownership.
• Experience driving broad product or platform-level decisions and engaging with senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience building AI products and defining AI quality evaluations.
• Ability to combine platform strategy with UX and customer experience judgment.
• Understanding of RAG, ontology, scalable API strategy, and agent-accessible systems.
• Comfort working in a fluid, fast-changing AI product environment.
