Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid workplace. Much of the work takes place during evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Define and deliver the vision, cadence, neighbourhoods, themes, and formats for Sofar Singles events in London.
• Curate venues, book diverse artists, design event flows and create activities that help guests connect naturally.
• Build and manage independent promotional channels, including social accounts, community groups, mailing lists, and WhatsApp or Telegram communities.
• Drive ticket sales through content, creator collaborations, paid social, street-level activations, referrals, partnerships, and targeted campaigns.
• Develop strategies to maintain a balanced room, with a particular focus on attracting men and monitoring results before and during each event.
• Own event profitability, guest experience, partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in event production, promotion, nightlife, live event curation, community building, social media marketing, sales, or partnerships.
• Existing audience, community, promoter network, or partnerships that can be activated, plus the ability to build new channels from scratch.
• Proven experience selling tickets through independent promotional channels.
• Experience with or strong understanding of singles events, dating and social culture, venue selection, and natural connection-oriented activities.
• Concrete ideas for attracting men and maintaining gender balance at events.
• Strong organization, communication, commercial judgment, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with singles mixers, speed dating, or connection-driven events.
• Experience securing sponsorships or developing marketing activations.
• Networks across run clubs, sports leagues, climbing gyms, cycling groups, professional communities, or other local groups.
