Salary: USD 81.53–105.99 per hour

What you will do

• Oversee pharmacy services, daily operations, strategic planning, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Define and implement clinical and distributive services with clinical leadership and physicians.
• Develop pharmacy staff through mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and educational programs for students and residents.
• Manage department goals, service standards, capital budgets, equipment proposals, and facility planning.
• Ensure quality patient care, regulatory compliance, USP standards, and continuous improvement across pharmacy operations.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and resolve clinical, distributive, and service-delivery issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Illinois pharmacist license required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare institution or equivalent advanced pharmacy residency or fellowship training.
• Five years of experience in home infusion, acute care, or specialty pharmacy required.
• Consulting, group presentation, communication, negotiation, change facilitation, and savings-achievement skills.
• Operational knowledge of pharmacy technology and automation systems.

Nice to have

• Pharmacy management experience.
• MBA, MHA, or PGY2 residency in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership.
