Nurse Clinician-Sleep Program Part Time Days

Location: Grayslake, Illinois, with travel between Grayslake and Lake Forest clinics

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments by phone and in person, document findings, and implement nursing interventions.
• Provide routine nursing care, including phlebotomy, medication administration, vital-sign measurement, and laboratory specimen preparation.
• Perform complex specialty-related procedures when clinically competent, including conscious sedation, chemotherapy administration, and wound care.
• Triage telephone calls, interpret abnormalities in tests and procedures, and manage urgent or emergent medical situations according to organizational protocols.
• Coordinate care with physicians, clinical departments, administrative units, outside agencies, and facilities.
• Initiate patient education, support staff education, and participate in community or specialty-related educational programs.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Professional Nurse licensure in Illinois is required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification is required.
• Current nursing experience within the past five years, or graduation from a nursing program within the past two years.
• Less than six months of experience requires approval from the NMG Director of Professional Development.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week across Grayslake and Lake Forest clinics.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• One to two years of ambulatory or acute care experience.
