Focus on solving time-sensitive national security problems, debugging native binaries, understanding OS internals and protocols, and delivering reliable tools for operational teams.
Location: Onsite in McLean, Virginia; applicants must currently reside in the United States.

What you will do
- Design and develop custom software tools and techniques for the Android platform.
- Own requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and ongoing sustainment.
- Develop CNO tools using networking concepts, socket programming, and packet-level protocol analysis.
- Diagnose issues with COTS, GOTS, and internal debugging frameworks.
- Respond to time-sensitive cyber problems and deliver reliable tools for operational teams.
- Mentor junior developers and support mission objectives.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, or the ability to obtain one.
- At least five years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging with Python and C, including UNIX applications built with make or similar environments.
- Experience developing CNO tools, reverse engineering native binaries, and creating proof-of-concept exploit software.
- Strong socket programming and packet-level knowledge of IP, TCP, and application-layer protocols.
- Experience with debuggers and analysis tools such as WinDbg, gdb, and IDA Pro, plus knowledge of OS internals, mitigations, and Git-based version control.
Nice to have
- Native Android/NDK or comparable mobile development experience.
- Vulnerability analysis experience and ARM assembly familiarity.
- Knowledge of mobile security protections such as SELinux and application sandboxing.
- Experience with Objective-C, Swift, or C++.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
