Fabrication Operator (Quantum Computing)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Finland, Espoo; full-time with readiness to work in shifts when required.

What you will do

• Execute front-end QPU fabrication and metrology processes according to SOPs, work instructions, BKMs, and safety protocols.
• Operate cleanroom tools for lithography, deposition, etch, and wet/thermal processes using established setups and recipes.
• Run production lots efficiently, monitor equipment and process parameters, and support daily throughput targets.
• Record production activity and process data in the MES, including wafer lot check-in and check-out.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline, chemical-handling standards, 5S workstations, and contamination-control practices.
• Report process drift, equipment errors, quality deviations, incidents, and accidents, while providing clear shift handovers.

Requirements

• Hands-on production experience in a cleanroom environment, with at least one year of lab work.
• Degree from a university of applied sciences, such as engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow SOPs precisely and deliver consistent results across production batches.
• Detail-oriented, safety-first approach to complex fabrication processes and chemical handling.
• Strong technical and team communication skills, including traceable production documentation.
• Readiness to work in shifts when required.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor or wafer-fabrication cleanroom experience.
• Experience with chemicals, lithography, deposition, etch, wet/thermal process tools, or MES.
• Interest in quantum technology and hirify.global’s technology roadmap.
