IHR Physical Therapist PRN (As Needed Non-Benefited)

Location: Oakbrook, Illinois, United States; onsite at the Outpatient Oakbrook Rehab Clinic

Salary: USD 52–58 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy care and manage patient plans of care from initial contact through discharge.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations, select appropriate treatment modalities, adjust treatment plans, and monitor functional progress and safety.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and collaborate with PTs, PTAs, physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in committees, process improvement, educational activities, student clinical programs, and departmental projects.
• Flex the schedule or assignment to meet patient care, staff meeting, and department meeting needs.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per month required.
• Flexible availability aligned with clinic hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Experience with outpatient physical therapy and proficiency in patient documentation, treatment planning, and clinical communication.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
