DevOps - Observability Engineer

What you will do

• Build and maintain base network monitoring and observability infrastructure for other teams.
• Work with containers, infrastructure as code, and Ansible automation.
• Use and develop network observability solutions based on ELK, Prometheus, Telegraf, and Grafana.
• Act as a subject matter expert for new observability stack features and implementations.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and squad through stand-ups, sprint reviews, planning, and shared backlog management.
• Guide service improvements, reporting, cross-squad support, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Professional IT background with at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in network monitoring with tools such as InfluxDB, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Telegraf, Logstash, Kibana, or Grafana.
• Experience with orchestration and automation platforms such as Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, Azure Automation, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching at CCNA/CCNP level, plus experience with load balancers and firewalls.
• Certification or proven proficiency in networking, CI/CD, NetDevOps, and at least one programming or scripting language.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coaching colleagues and taking responsibility as an active team player.
