Principal Product Manager, Platform Strategy & Infrastructure (Auth0)

Salary: CAD 173,000–237,000 annual base salary for candidates located in Canada

What you will do

• Define and own the multi-year roadmap for Auth0’s core platform infrastructure and consumption models.
• Transform rate limits into strategic monetization capabilities through dynamic consumption models, observability, and intelligent throttling.
• Lead cloud resilience and scale initiatives, including tierless private cloud transitions, geo-HA failover, service-only failovers, and four-nines reliability.
• Define infrastructure standards for MCP, autonomous AI agents, secure authentication, M2M communication, and high-scale API consumption.
• Align Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Go-to-Market leadership while influencing senior engineering leaders and C-level executives.
• Use security and compliance by design to support enterprise sales and market differentiation.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years at Principal, Group, or Lead level.
• Experience managing complex, high-scale infrastructure, platform, or backend products at an enterprise SaaS company.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, infrastructure monetization, and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Expertise in MCP, agentic workflows, and securing high-volume machine-to-machine communications.
• Technical fluency in serverless scaling, API gateways, rate-limiting algorithms, and high-availability database topologies.
• Strong analytical and executive communication skills, including experience with SLAs, COGS, pricing, packaging, and business cases.

• Deep expertise in Identity and Access Management.
• Experience leading the transition from legacy cloud models to tierless or serverless architectures.
