What you will do
- Perform general and fluoroscopic radiography in outpatient settings.
- Ensure patient safety through screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
- Produce diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
- Operate imaging equipment, maintain room readiness, and report equipment performance issues.
- Administer contrast when applicable, including screening for contraindications and monitoring patients.
- Review images, coordinate exam flow, prioritize time-sensitive studies, and maintain accurate medical records and image routing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography (ARRT(R)).
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency accreditation.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Compliance with radiation safety, MRI safety, infection prevention, and other diagnostic imaging standards.
- Availability to work casual rotating shifts at the listed Illinois outpatient locations.
