MRI Technologist Full-time Nights

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL. Onsite, full-time night shift beginning at midnight; three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend required.

Salary: USD 38.31–55.55 per hour

What you will do

• Provide MRI imaging services for patients in the Feinberg Pavilion and support inpatient care operations.
• Perform MRI safety screening, including implant and foreign-body evaluation, controlled-access procedures, and patient monitoring.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and apply professional judgment to resolve imaging challenges.
• Administer contrast when required, including contraindication screening, IV access, monitoring, and response to adverse events.
• Operate MRI equipment, maintain room readiness, identify equipment issues, and coordinate service follow-up.
• Coordinate exam flow, prioritize time-sensitive studies, and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and Visage.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago on a full-time overnight schedule, including every other weekend.
• Maintain compliance with applicable MRI safety, infection prevention, quality, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
