Accounts Payable Accountant (AI)

What you will do

• Process, verify, and maintain incoming vendor invoices, purchase orders, goods receipts, approvals, and vendor master data.
• Prepare payment runs, reconcile vendor statements, and investigate invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, internal stakeholders, and external partners to resolve payment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal procedures.
• Support audits, maintain accurate documentation, and improve and digitalize accounts payable processes.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, accounting qualification, or comparable education.
• Professional experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance operations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent English required; German language skills are an advantage.
