Finance Manager (Fintech)

Location: Ireland; hybrid

What you will do

• Support the Head of Finance in maintaining and developing the finance and safeguarding framework.
• Manage daily safeguarding, internal, and external reconciliations under the four-eye approval process.
• Coordinate regulatory and statutory reporting, dashboards, governance reports, and day-to-day finance reconciliations.
• Oversee outsourced finance activities and manage third-party relationships.
• Facilitate internal and external audits, resolve queries, and maintain process documentation.
• Identify automation and continuous-improvement opportunities, while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent required.
• Experience in financial services or professional advisory work involving regulated financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding compliance, finance management frameworks, and payment institution regulations.
• Experience managing financial reporting, complex reconciliations, third-party relationships, and outsourced finance functions.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced regulated environment.
