Senior Consumer Finance Business Partner

What you'll do

• Act as the principal finance adviser to the Consumer business and support commercial strategy, planning and investment decisions.
• Lead consumer planning, budgeting, forecasting and integrated performance management across revenue, margin, Opex, Capex, customer, channel and operational drivers.
• Evaluate and approve business cases covering tariffs, pricing, propositions, promotions, products and strategic investments.
• Chair the bi-weekly Commercial Committee and maintain decision rights, approval standards, escalation routes and financial controls.
• Improve management information, reporting, data quality, forecasting and automation using HFM, SAP, SAP BI and local reporting tools.
• Lead, coach and develop finance professionals while partnering with senior stakeholders across Consumer, Finance, Strategy, Technology, Operations and Group functions.

Requirements

• Significant senior commercial finance or business partnering experience in a complex, customer-led organisation, ideally international or listed.
• Experience shaping strategy and influencing executive decision-making across multiple disciplines.
• Expertise in strategic planning, forecasting, performance management, investment appraisal, pricing and financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, controls, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing finance professionals.
• Recognised professional qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent finance qualification.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent strategic business experience.
• Experience in telecommunications, technology, subscription-based or fast-moving consumer markets.
• Awareness of global commercial, economic and industry trends.
