Director, Revenue Assurance & Ireland Country Lead (SaaS)

Location: Must be based in Ireland; supporting operations across Ireland and the European Union.

What you will do

• Lead the global technical Revenue Assurance function supporting EMEA and APAC.
• Serve as the primary finance lead for the Databricks Ireland entity and execute intercompany workflows.
• Oversee EU customer contracting, billing, payment collection, and fund-remittance processes.
• Ensure enterprise SaaS and consumption-based revenue transactions comply with ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, IFRS 15, and internal policies.
• Advise Sales, Strategic Pricing, Deal Desk, and Legal on complex customer contracts and non-standard commercial terms.
• Improve data, systems, and automation in partnership with FP&A, IT, RevOps, and Order-to-Cash teams, and deliver revenue recognition training.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Ireland.
• Active ACA, FCA, or ACCA qualification required.
• At least 5 years of audit or advisory experience at Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience, including 5+ years in technical revenue recognition at a global publicly traded or high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606, enterprise SaaS, consumption-based models, complex software revenue, Irish statutory requirements, and intercompany operations.
• Experience leading global teams, managing change, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and using financial systems, ERP platforms, and SQL-based data analysis.
