Senior Commerce Strategist (Commerce)

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary: CAD 100,000–160,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Define unified commerce strategies with client executives and senior stakeholders.
• Align business units, product, sales, marketing, digital, design, architecture, and technology teams.
• Analyze customer journeys, personas, research, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
• Develop future-state commerce experiences, strategic frameworks, and actionable roadmaps.
• Facilitate executive workshops, stakeholder alignment sessions, and transformation discussions.
• Maintain strategic alignment through discovery, platform implementation, and delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in digital strategy, customer experience strategy, commerce strategy, management consulting, product strategy, or a related field.
• Experience leading strategic discovery and transformation initiatives for enterprise organizations.
• Strong knowledge of customer journey mapping, service design, experience strategy, and persona development.
• Experience facilitating executive workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.
• Strong analytical, research, storytelling, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely from Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Commerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, Shopify Enterprise, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
• B2B commerce experience.
• Consulting or agency background and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
