Customer Engineer (APIs/JavaScript)

Location: Remote - Canada

Salary: $105,000–$120,000 CAD annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead technical onboarding for enterprise retailers and direct-to-consumer brands.
• Provide consultative guidance for integrating hirify.global solutions and maximizing product value.
• Translate customer business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Develop and validate solutions using APIs, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical and business stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
• Create documentation, improve processes, and develop internal tools and training programs.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience working on enterprise-level software projects as a technical lead.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or related languages.
• Strong technical aptitude and customer-facing experience.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be located in Canada for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience with iPaaS, retail and e-commerce platforms, order management systems, inventory management, WMS, TMS, supply chain, or logistics.
