Senior Technical Analyst (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada; hybrid work with on-site presence one week every 3–4 weeks

What you will do

• Administer, monitor, patch, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware and Windows Server environments.
• Maintain SAN and NAS storage, HPE server hardware, enterprise backups, Active Directory, group policies, and Microsoft 365.
• Support networks, firewalls, filtering services, endpoint protection, security tools, and IT system event monitoring.
• Develop vulnerability management activities, coordinate penetration testing, run phishing and security awareness campaigns, and maintain infrastructure and security labs.
• Collaborate with managed service providers and external vendors on network and security operations.
• Provide end-user support, document incidents and systems, participate in IT projects, and join the after-hours on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Degree, diploma, certification in Computer Science, or equivalent IT experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems administration.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016+, Active Directory, VMware vCenter/vSphere/ESXi 7+, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Azure AD.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage arrays, networking and firewalls, MDM platforms, HPE servers, XDR endpoint protection, SIEM tools, and vulnerability assessment.
• Working knowledge of Zebra WMS tools and hardware, plus PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Availability for a 40-hour workweek, periodic on-site work, after-hours on-call support, and occasional lifting of IT equipment.
