Electrical Engineering Technician/Aide (Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Support Design Engineers in designing and developing new power supply products and maintaining existing products.
• Perform product evaluations, qualifications, and testing.
• Generate test reports and documentation packages for new products.
• Work under Engineer supervision on complex and specialized electrical engineering tasks.
• Interface with internal organizations to address product-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of position-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of analog or power electronics circuits.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, and power supplies.
• Understanding of schematics, PCB layouts, circuit simulation, assembly drawings, and test specifications.
• Strong soldering and circuit prototyping skills, plus knowledge of component types, ratings, voltage, power, current, op-amp theory, and transistor operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, computer, and follow-through skills.

Nice to have

• Basic programming or scripting experience.
