Senior Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Somerset, New Jersey, United States; local candidates only. No relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $52,307–$66,256 annually, plus a bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies during assembly, integration, and advanced system testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and Assembly/Test teams to solve technical issues and improve production efficiency.
• Manage acceptance-testing data for ETL and ATL, ensuring data integrity and actionable analysis.
• Compile statistical performance reports during Final Test and identify trends in system discrepancies.
• Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Improve test methodologies and support tool-related maintenance activities while maintaining 5S standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, or maintaining complex systems in a high-tech or manufacturing environment; 6 years preferred.
• Working knowledge of hardware, software, and control systems; Analog or DeviceNet experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
• Ability to analyze statistical data, identify root causes, communicate across teams, lift up to 40 pounds, and work overtime when required.
• Experience with semiconductor, capital equipment, high-vacuum, high-voltage, or high-power systems is preferred.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a technical field or relevant field service experience.
• SAP experience ranging from transactional use to reporting.
