Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (Storage)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; remote work is expected in compliance with hirify.global's policies, within a primarily in-office environment.

What you will do

• Understand customer business drivers and connect hirify.global portfolio and ecosystem solutions to measurable outcomes.
• Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to develop sales strategies and grow new business.
• Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and DAS, NAS, and SAN environments.
• Lead evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, interoperability testing, and performance validation.
• Design and deliver technical product and architecture presentations and translate customer requirements into innovative solutions.
• Author RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses while supporting product marketing, roadmap planning, and competitive positioning.

Requirements

• Pre-sales experience and 5 or more years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
• Experience with enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, distributed computing, networking, TCP/IP, VMware, and storage subsystem architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, on-premises and public cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers.
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, microservices, modern web architecture, and LAMP.
• Knowledge of structured databases such as SQL and Oracle and storage-intensive applications.
