Linux Infrastructure Engineer

hirify.global builds and operates compute infrastructure for large-scale historical market-data processing and model training across multiple data centers.

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux-based bare-metal servers across data centers.
• Build and operate virtualization, storage, GPU compute, and database clusters.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, hardware, networking, and cluster-level issues.
• Tune infrastructure for throughput, latency, stability, and resource utilization.
• Monitor infrastructure health, identify bottlenecks, and prevent recurring production issues.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using Ansible and scripting.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Production experience with on-premise, bare-metal infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Linux performance analysis and bottleneck identification.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, production troubleshooting, server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, ideally using Ansible.

Nice to have

• Experience with BMC/IPMI, firmware, BIOS tuning, hardware lifecycle management, and PXE/netboot provisioning.
• Experience with virtualization clusters, live migration, and high availability.
• Experience with distributed storage clusters, replication, rebalancing, and recovery from disk or node failures.
