What you will do
- Review payments, transactions, and customer accounts for high-risk and suspicious activity.
- Approve or reject payments according to risk analysis and standard operating procedures.
- Escalate cases to Compliance and collaborate with colleagues on secondary reviews.
- Identify false positives using historical data and reinstate affected accounts when appropriate.
- Report fraud trends and contribute insights to improve fraud prevention data models.
- Help protect customers while minimizing unnecessary disruption to legitimate account activity.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex customer cases in detail.
- Interest in investigation and a good understanding of risk management principles.
- Ability to work with multiple internal tools; training is provided.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Flexibility to support a growing team providing 24/7 coverage.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in fraud, AML, risk operations, or Trust & Safety.
