Fraud and Abuse Analytics Owner

Location: Remote from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Bangkok, Georgia, or Indonesia; core collaboration hours are 12:00 to 6:00 PM Manila time (UTC+8)

What you will do

• Own fraud and abuse analytics for cashback, credit, promotional, referral, and loyalty programs.
• Monitor transactions and customer behavior across large transactional datasets to identify emerging abuse patterns.
• Build and maintain SQL- and Python-based reports, monitoring systems, alerts, and triggers.
• Form and test hypotheses, investigate flagged cases, and assess potential and actual financial losses.
• Work with Risk, Product, and business teams to improve product terms, promotion rules, and cashback mechanics.
• Review closed cases regularly to determine whether abuse patterns have returned.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience investigating and preventing abuse in banking or financial programs.
• Experience with cashback, credit cards or credit lines, promotions, referral or loyalty programs, or quasi-cash and transaction abuse.
• Strong SQL and Python or equivalent scripting skills.
• Experience working directly with large transactional databases.
• Track record of turning hypotheses into continuous monitoring systems rather than one-time reports.
