Software Engineer (Go/Kubernetes)

hirify.global provides a graph intelligence platform and Aura, a fully managed graph database service running on Kubernetes across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.

What you will do

• Build and evolve the Aura control plane for sharded and composite databases in Go.
• Develop APIs, Kubernetes operators, and infrastructure for provisioning, scaling, and operating database clusters.
• Manage shard, composite instance, cluster, and database lifecycles declaratively through Kubernetes.
• Debug production issues, fix downstream test failures, document features, and collaborate on technical designs.
• Research database technologies and experiment with new capabilities for Aura.

Requirements

• Production-level software development experience.
• Strong Go experience across scripting and microservice-style applications, including familiarity with Go build and packaging.
• Strong Kubernetes experience with Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, and stateful workloads.
• Experience configuring continuous integration pipelines and building and running Docker images.
• Ability to work independently and communicate about complex technical topics.

Nice to have

• Java, Scala, or other JVM experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes operators, Custom Resources, databases, compilers, or query languages.
• Knowledge of asynchronous, reactive, and distributed systems programming.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, observability, or managed cloud services.
