What you will do

• Support staffing and coverage needs at veterinary hospitals.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver client and patient care.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Educate clients on preventive healthcare, vaccines, and appropriate nutritional products.
• Maintain accurate client and patient medical and surgical records and required logs.
• Assist with patient follow-up and ongoing care management.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, DVM, VMD, or equivalent required.
• Active state veterinary license in good standing, DEA license, and other required state credentials.
• PLIT insurance required.
• At least 2 years of experience in general practice medicine and surgery.
• Strong communication, listening, problem-solving, multitasking, and accountability skills.
• Computer skills, including comfort with PIMS software, and the ability to collaborate with veterinary professionals.
