IT Product Manager (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Define product vision, strategy, multi-quarter roadmaps, and prioritized backlogs for assigned IT products and systems.
• Conduct discovery with patients, caregivers, clinicians, and operations to validate problems and identify unmet needs.
• Partner with UX, engineering, architecture, analytics, compliance, and operations on product design, integrations, performance, reliability, and accessibility.
• Define KPIs and OKRs, analyze usage statistics and adoption, and use feedback to guide product iteration.
• Coordinate release planning, change management, training, support, communications, and enablement materials.
• Manage vendors, report roadmap progress and risks to leadership, and recommend investments based on impact and strategic fit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or 7 years of related experience.
• 4–7 years of product management experience with digital products, enterprise applications, or IT platforms.
• 3–5 years of experience in regulated environments, preferably healthcare, with security, privacy, and compliance considerations.
• Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, UX, and data teams, including working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and system constraints.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, digital patient experience, HIPAA privacy and security concepts, WCAG accessibility, and clinical change management is preferred.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent agile product management certification.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe POPM, or similar certification.
• Experience with patient portals, scheduling, check-in, messaging, or telehealth products.
