IT System Engineer II (Healthcare)

Salary: $42.30–$63.53 per hour

What you will do

• Configure and support physical and virtual servers across the hirify.global District.
• Provide Tier II technical support, incident management, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Perform hardware and operating system upgrades, application and server monitoring, and resource optimization.
• Tune server performance and help ensure application and system availability and integrity.
• Provide rotational on-call coverage for 24/7 support.
• Consult with users to define hardware, software, and system specifications and support system design, testing, documentation, and modification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–4 years of information systems experience.
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Windows infrastructure services.
• Experience with client-server architecture, systems analysis, server operations, and computer hardware or software maintenance.
• English speaking and reading ability sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Ability to work on-site and participate in rotational 24/7 on-call support.

Nice to have

• 2–3 years of experience in a healthcare technical environment.
