Hospital Billing Senior Analyst (Epic)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with quarterly travel and possible Epic training; candidates residing or planning to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, or Washington are not considered. Work city: Broomfield, Colorado. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $39.97–$62.91 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Provide advanced technical support, configuration, integration, maintenance, and optimization for healthcare applications.
• Support hospital billing, claims, home health and hospice billing, electronic health records, vendor integrations, and related systems.
• Document workflow changes, define technical and functional designs, troubleshoot complex incidents, and follow change-management standards.
• Manage small and mid-sized projects, serving as project manager and coordinating multiple teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Develop testing plans and scripts, review team configuration, prepare training and knowledge materials, and support on-call and command-center activities.
• Support business cases, ROI and KPI planning, resource forecasting, capital planning, equipment coordination, and construction or reconstruction technology projects.

Requirements

• Four years of related work experience; a bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related field is preferred and may be substituted by relevant experience under the stated conditions.
• In-depth knowledge of business applications, system analysis, operating systems, documentation, data collection, and problem definition.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of project management and control, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, directors, senior leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely from an eligible U.S. location and travel for quarterly visits and possible Epic training.
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and work with computers and other IT equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hospital Billing Resolute, hospital billing claims, home health billing, or hospice billing.
• Epic application certification, with the ability to maintain certification.
• Experience with healthcare application implementation, integration, support, archival, and decommissioning.
