Imaging Systems Administrator (Medical Imaging)

Location: CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States. Onsite IT support is required, including participation in a rotating on-call schedule.

What you will do

• Administer and support radiology and cardiology PACS, advanced imaging applications, interfaces, storage architectures, and voice recognition technologies.
• Support hemodynamic systems, electrophysiology mapping applications, and medical imaging initiatives across clinical departments.
• Coordinate DICOM SR mappings, application maintenance, testing, system monitoring, and network transmission of digital image data.
• Provide second-level incident and request support, document cases in IT service management systems, and act as a liaison between vendors, BioMed, IT partners, and clinical teams.
• Develop documentation, operating standards, procedures, and training materials, and deliver hands-on training for imaging applications.
• Provide input on medical imaging security requirements and information security plans supporting HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in healthcare or IT, or four years of PACS administration experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two years of related healthcare experience.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to interpret technical requirements and complex documentation.
• Ability to explain imaging technology to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate across multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and participate in rotating on-call coverage.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Medical imaging experience.
• Certification or registration through CIIP, PARCA, ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT.
