Senior Project Manager, Information Technology (Healthcare IT)

Salary: $118,560–$156,000 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent healthcare IT projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Develop and manage project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and communications.
• Partner with clinical, business, technical, executive, and project committee stakeholders to define objectives, success metrics, and deliverables.
• Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, contingencies, and competing priorities.
• Oversee third-party vendors, contracts, performance, and external delivery teams.
• Improve PMO processes, tools, methodologies, and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience, including 8+ years in healthcare IT or a comparable regulated environment.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience managing large-scale cross-functional initiatives involving EHR systems, clinical applications, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project management methodologies, with strong technical understanding across cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, telecom, end-user computing, and data analytics.
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 applications.
