Principal Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Drive the architectural evolution of the hirify.global platform and define its technical direction.
• Build the Golden Path for development through self-service CI/CD, observability, and deployment infrastructure.
• Design AI-native systems that support agentic workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-driven engineering efficiency.
• Architect for reliability, performance, and scale across multi-tenant, high-volume MSP partnerships.
• Partner with security, compliance, infrastructure, operations, product, commercial, and business stakeholders on technical decisions.
• Manage a small group of product engineers, supporting performance, development, and career progression.

Requirements

• Full-stack development capability with TypeScript.
• Strong background in software architecture and DevOps.
• Hands-on AI experience and working knowledge of current best practices.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Availability for a hybrid role in Stockholm, Sweden.

• Scale-up or startup experience.
• Experience in a SaaS company.
