Equity Execution Trader (Analyst)

Location: New York, NY, USA

Base salary: $145,000–$170,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Execute equity and derivative transactions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Work with portfolio managers to implement investment views and manage portfolio exposures.
• Monitor market activity, liquidity, corporate events, and news affecting portfolio holdings.
• Analyze execution performance and identify opportunities to improve trading outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, sales traders, and other market participants.
• Provide market color and liquidity insights while supporting trading infrastructure, workflows, and end-to-end execution processes.

Requirements

• 0–5 years of experience in equity trading, sales trading, execution services, market structure, or a related investment role.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, judgment, and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and perform in a fast-paced investment environment.
• General understanding of financial markets and equity trading processes.
• Technology proficiency, including coding; AI fluency is a strong plus.
