Trading Assistant (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Support advisors, trading partners, and home office staff with trading questions, order activity, regulatory reporting, and trading system functionality.
• Perform order book reconciliations and trade allocations across trading activity.
• Identify and resolve trading and settlement issues and complete required documentation.
• Support report creation, monitoring, and analysis, including execution quality and trade reporting.
• Review trading policies and procedures for compliance and identify process improvement and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Provide backup support to Capital Markets Trading departments and participate in special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; post-secondary education and relevant experience may be combined.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, regulated environment.
• Ability to learn new systems, technologies, and business processes.
• Valid United States work authorization is required without current or future visa sponsorship needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with BETA Host, LSEG One, BRASS, Microsoft applications, Excel, or Power BI.
• Active Series 7 license.
• Experience in trading, brokerage, securities, or financial services operations.
