Principal ATE Test Engineer (Optical Module)

Salary: $158,600–$237,600 per year base pay, plus eligibility for bonus and equity plans.

What you will do

• Develop production and characterization ATE test programs and hardware for semiconductor chips, subassemblies, and optical modules.
• Define test requirements, methodologies, and strategies across debug, characterization, qualification, and full production.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve feature testability and ensure results meet customer specifications.
• Manage production test programs across manufacturing sites and support new product qualification and transfer.
• Drive test cost reduction, yield improvement, and alignment of test engineering systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree and/or PhD with 5+ years of experience.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor test engineering experience.
• Strong background in ATE testing, test methodology, silicon processes, DFT/DFM, and high-speed digital testing.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled technology and software under applicable U.S. export control laws is required; export license review may apply.
