TL;DR
IT Operations Engineer (with IT Risk) (Linux/Windows, Cloud, Containers): Managing enterprise-scale infrastructure and operating environments for critical banking services with an accent on system reliability, automation, and IT risk controls. Focus on resolving incidents, supporting virtualized and containerized platforms, collecting audit evidence, and improving availability and scalability.

What you will do
- Manage Linux and Windows operating environments across enterprise-scale platforms.
- Support virtualized and containerized infrastructure, including VMware and container platforms.
- Monitor system performance, investigate incidents, and improve system reliability, availability, and scalability.
- Automate operational tasks and improve efficiency using scripting, CI/CD, and configuration management tools.
- Support IT risk controls, audit evidence collection, compliance activities, and remediation tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams to strengthen operational processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience managing Linux and Windows systems.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP and a solid understanding of DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Experience with Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting technologies, plus CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Git.
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, monitoring and observability platforms, and incident and problem management.
- Experience supporting IT risk controls, audit activities, compliance requirements, or remediation tracking is essential.
Nice to have
- Database knowledge, including SQL.
- Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability environments.
