TL;DR
PACS/RIS Engineer - App & Integration (Healthcare) (PACS/RIS, HL7/DICOM): Supporting and integrating clinical imaging applications and environments with an accent on PACS/RIS administration, healthcare interoperability, and database operations. Focus on troubleshooting HL7 and DICOM workflows, maintaining Oracle and SQL databases, automating support with scripts, and ensuring reliable clinical system availability.
Location: Onsite in Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu, Philippines. Working hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM NZST / 5:00 AM–2:00 PM Philippine time.

What you will do
- Provide day-to-day administration and support for PACS, RIS, and associated healthcare imaging applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across applications, databases, interfaces, networks, and operating systems.
- Implement, configure, test, deploy, upgrade, and migrate PACS/RIS environments.
- Manage HL7 interfaces and DICOM workflows connecting RIS, PACS, HIS/EMR, modalities, and other clinical systems.
- Administer Oracle and SQL databases, Windows Server, Linux environments, automation scripts, and related infrastructure.
- Handle incidents, documentation, change management, cybersecurity, vendor coordination, and healthcare technology implementation projects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong Oracle DBA and SQL skills, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup, and recovery.
- Experience with HL7 v2.x, ADT, ORM, ORU, DICOM, modality worklists, C-STORE, C-FIND, and C-MOVE.
- Experience supporting PACS/RIS systems, radiology workflows, healthcare interoperability, and clinical system availability.
- Administration and troubleshooting experience with Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and ports.
- Ability to develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with VMware or virtualization, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure/cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Active Directory, monitoring platforms, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience with high-availability or database clustering environments.
- Experience working with vendors and hospital IT teams or in a 24×7 clinical environment.
