Contractor Management Officer (Defence)

What you will do

• Support contract management activities for the acquisition and sustainment of Defence vehicle fleets.
• Apply the CASG Contract Management Framework, Defence Procurement Policy, and ASDEFCON contracting templates.
• Support procurement planning, tendering, contract formation, and ongoing contract management.
• Review contracting correspondence, reports, submissions, contract change proposals, and other contractual documents.
• Develop advice with stakeholders and subject matter experts on contracting issues and dispute resolution strategies.

Requirements

• Higher education qualification in project management, commercial management, business, or a related field; minimum Diploma.
• Experience with contract management, procurement practices, risk management, and drafting formal correspondence and reports.
• At least 2 years of experience in Defence, government, or a related industry.
• Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON contracting framework and experience supporting contract changes.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Baseline Defence Security Clearance or higher is required, with the ability to maintain it.
