Group Lead, Digital Innovation

Location: Chicago/Aon Center, United States

New hire base salary: $141,500–$176,900 per year. Eligible for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Plan, structure, and facilitate multi-day design thinking workshops for cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
• Guide ideation, prototyping, and strategic alignment exercises to address complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders, align outcomes, and secure support for strategic initiatives.
• Analyze business challenges and opportunities using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Lead user research and stakeholder interviews, then synthesize findings into actionable strategies and frameworks.
• Partner with product, engineering, data science, IT, and business teams to ensure strategies are executable and impactful.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in design strategy, business design, or a related field.
• Proven experience facilitating design thinking workshops and engaging with senior executives.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze complex systems and identify opportunities.
• Exceptional research, synthesis, storytelling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Miro, Figma, or similar collaboration and design platforms.
