Staff, AI Security Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Design and scale end-to-end security architectures for enterprise AI/ML platforms and complex pipelines.
• Define secure model lifecycle standards, reference architectures, security risk metrics, and AI threat governance frameworks.
• Review system designs, audit high-risk architectures, and establish governance standards to prevent data leakage, model inversion, and pipeline compromise.
• Develop security requirements for LLM guardrails, agentic systems, real-time data privacy, and secure cloud MLOps infrastructure.
• Partner with principal software engineers, enterprise architects, development leaders, and senior technical stakeholders to drive strategic security adoption.
• Provide security frameworks, automated compliance patterns, and guidance for high-severity architectural security reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a related field, plus 6+ years of technology experience.
• Experience in enterprise architecture, cloud security, or software security design.
• Deep architectural knowledge of AI/ML systems and AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in AI-specific threats including prompt injection, model theft, data poisoning, and OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
• Experience creating threat models, enterprise security standards, and secure reference architectures for distributed applications.
• Strong systemic thinking, creative problem-solving, cross-team influence, and executive-level communication skills.

Nice to have

• SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP-ISSAP, or CCSP certification.
• Experience operating AI/ML systems and expertise in confidential computing, differential privacy, PII protection, and data protection regulations.
• Experience leading AI security transformations or building zero-trust AI platforms in high-growth technology, large-scale e-commerce, or global cloud environments.
