Terminal Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Linden, New Jersey, United States; onsite warehouse role. Shift: Wednesday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Salary: $70,000–$77,500 per year

What you will do

• Supervise warehouse workers, assign tasks and targets, and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate shift allocations and improve the efficiency of warehouse staff.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and warehouse operating procedures.
• Organize staff training and support new team members.
• Ensure safe operation of warehouse tools and equipment, including required documentation.
• Collaborate with managers, lead business initiatives, and prepare analytics-supported internal meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in management, administration, supply chain, or customer service, or 5+ years of experience in product distribution.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety and legal documentation, including MSDS, equipment checklists, and bills of lading.
• Working understanding of a Warehouse Management System.
• Strong leadership, administration, motivation, team-building, decision-making, time-management, and crisis-resolution skills.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver products weighing 150+ pounds unassisted or with a team lift.
• Ability to read and comprehend English for workplace safety; willingness to work overtime as needed.
