Warehouse Team Lead 1

Location: Port Wentworth, Georgia, United States; onsite warehouse position

Salary: $23.25–$28.25 per hour, with potential overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and a peak-season bonus of up to $1,600.

What you will do

• Assist the supervisor with overseeing warehouse department operations across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, bulk, or value-added services.
• Lead and support a team of approximately 6–15 associates, delegate work, and drive production and quality performance.
• Conduct pre-shift safety briefings, lead daily stretches, enforce standard operating procedures, and support associate training.
• Control workflow, monitor productivity dashboards and KPIs, remove operational roadblocks, and resolve issues before escalation.
• Oversee inbound and outbound processes, including trailer unloading, picking, packaging, loading, and Dock to Stock SLA performance.
• Perform inventory and quality checks, maintain department cleanliness, and respond to email and verbal questions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience is preferred; experience in more than one warehouse department is required.
• Must be able to work in a floor-based warehouse role, repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds, and maneuver products weighing over 150 pounds independently or with a team.
• PIV certification is required for relevant roles, and the ability or willingness to train on Powered Industrial Truck Operations is required.
• Leadership and motivational skills, sound decision-making, and the ability to maintain firm, fair, and consistent expectations.
• Working knowledge of a WMS system; high school diploma or GED and previous warehouse experience are preferred.
