Mattress Professional (Full Time)

Location: Denver, Colorado; physical retail, in-store

Salary: $27.00–$28.50 per hour; the fixed entry rate for new hires is $27.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide personalized consultations on mattresses, sleep systems, adjustable bases, pillows, bedding, and related accessories.
• Assess customers’ sleep positions, comfort preferences, health considerations, body types, partner needs, budgets, and long-term goals.
• Explain mattress construction, materials, support technologies, pressure relief, cooling, motion isolation, durability, warranties, and performance.
• Build complete sleep solutions using hirify.global’s digital assortment and endless aisle capabilities.
• Maintain mattress displays and comfort-testing areas while supporting merchandising, inventory, replenishment, pickups, returns, and carry-outs.
• Share mattress expertise with fellow associates and coach them on consultative selling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of successful selling experience across low- to high-end mattresses and expertise across home mattress solutions.
• Deep knowledge of innerspring, hybrid, memory foam, latex, specialty mattresses, adjustable bases, and premium sleep technologies.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, customer education, and consultative sales skills.
• Core sales instincts, time management, multitasking ability, and technical proficiency with mobile devices and POS systems.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the day and lift up to 50 pounds independently.
