What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of native Android features for homepage, sales, category, authentication, and landing experiences.
• Maintain and refactor the application while improving performance, test coverage, and automation.
• Review code and guide developers through the release approval process.
• Use data and metrics to drive product and engineering improvements.
• Collaborate with quality, UX, backend/API, product, analytics, iOS, and full-stack teams.
• Mentor engineers through knowledge sharing, technical talks, and presentations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional Android development experience on publicly available applications.
• Mastery of Android fundamentals, API endpoint integration, debugging, and memory management.
• Experience designing or architecting complex features with product managers and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of MVP, MVVM, Clean, VIPER, asynchronous patterns, Material Design, and Android UI/UX best practices.
• Commitment to clean, readable, thoroughly tested code and constructive code reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice to have

• Jetpack Compose and GraphQL experience.
• Ruby or similar scripting language experience.
• Experience with iOS or full-stack development.
