IT Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles; must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or LA and work regularly from the office.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually

What you will do

• Implement and oversee data loss prevention frameworks and manage endpoint detection and response tooling.
• Control technology onboarding and offboarding, including timely access provisioning and revocation.
• Provision, manage, and audit access across the corporate SaaS stack, including AI employees and automated workflows.
• Audit software license utilization and identify opportunities to optimize technology spend.
• Maintain office IT hardware, equipment, and conference room media systems.
• Partner with engineering teams to test and deploy internal IT automation tools while managing vendors and contractors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar high-ownership IT role.
• Proven experience configuring and managing EDR systems and implementing DLP policies.
• Experience serving as a primary vendor point of contact.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or LA and able to work regularly from the office.
• Strong ownership, resourcefulness, user-unblocking, and automation mindset.
