Flight Software Associate (Summer 2027)

Location: San Francisco, United States. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required to comply with space technology export regulations.

Base salary: $1,925 per week.

What you will do

• Design, write, and test embedded software running on satellites.
• Develop ground control and testing software.
• Work with the engineering team on challenging satellite software projects.

Requirements

• Hold a four-year degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or be enrolled in a similar M.S. program.
• Have experience with C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Demonstrate the ability to design, write, and test software from scratch.
• Meet U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal.
• Experience with real-time operating systems.
• Experience with FPGA or DSP programming.
